In the story, Call It Courage, a twelve-year old boy (Mafatu) must face his fear, fear of the sea. Everyone is afraid of something. Write about a time when you where afraid. (e.g., fear of flying, heights, alone, darkness, water)
There was a time when i used to be scared of heights because when I am high I get a fuzzy feeling in my stomach I would feel like I am going to fall over the rail, but now I feel okay I have gotten over my fear and When I am up high somewhere like a tall building I think its cool.
when i was about six i was afraid of staying home alone i always thought that chucky the doll was going to get me cause i watch all the chucky movies and i never went to sleep when i was alone in the house or took a bath cause he might come whaen i was in the shower
When i was at orlando I was afraid of the dueling dragons because it was high,fast,scary. And I was afraid of the movie orphan and it was this women that look like a girl and was small to she had problems
It all started on may 7th when I went on a field trip with my school we went to islands of adventure in orlando. I went on this ride called the hulk and i was so scared that I started to cry and calling my mom's name out loud.Also the funny part about it was that I never opened my eyes on the ride .My stomach was just rumbling.The ride so so scary it went in circles and upside down I was just felt like my death was about to happen.Also when the ride was over I felt like a sick baby that had fever and a cold for days.
My fear was the ride called the Hulk at Islands of Adventure, when I was 7 I wanted to go o the ride because it looked fun but he I got older i was scared tn when we when back i wen on it and i was breathing so hard I was about to pass out.So that was the time I went on the Hulk.Pejumae LeVette
About two years ago i was a scared of roller coasters and rides fear me because the heights scare me. but over the years i have got over it and put it a side and enjoyed rides since then i have never been afraid of it. When i had went to my field trip to islands of adventure i had went on every ride even two or three times.
When i felt scared is when i was younger i went to Santa's Enchanted Forest and i went on this ride called Orbiter that it would shoot you up in the air at 100 mph, and then it would keep spinning you around and it would go in all kinds of directions at a faster velocity for 5 minutes. I felt like i was going to fly off that ride and die because it just wouldn't stop.
one time I went to Islands of adventure and I was scared to go on the halk. I was scared because it was high , speedy , and it puts you upside down . But then my friends told me I should go on it . I went on it and I got stuck . I was so scared . then it started move again . but it was fun . now I am not scared of the halk .
My fear was when we went to Islands of Adventure.One of the fears is when I went on the Hulk,when I got of that ride I was getting ready to throw up.There were so many twists and turns and it went very fast so that I had to close my eyes.My other fear was on the Dueling Dragons.That one was just like the Hulk, but this went slower and had more turns.If you don't like twist or turns don't go on either of these rides.
Last year we had a cook out and I was scared to swim in 6 feet. All the big kid were over there and i wanted to go because they was having fun but i had to stay with the little kid in 3 feet. so I went to 5 feet and my sister came and i got on her back and she took me to 6 feet and i stay with them.
The time i was scared was when my sister got a pencil stuck in her mouth she was jumping on the bed with a pencil in her hand and she fell the next thing i know she was yelling for her life in the bathroom with my aunty squirting out blood from her mouth i thought she was gonna die but we rushed her to the hospital and they took most of the lead out but there was still some left and that day another thing happened they told me in the hospital with my sister that my grandpa died because someone shot him 2 things that made me miserable in one day that was so scary
About 4 years ago i went on a roller coaster called the hulk i was scared at first because I saw it go really fast by me when I was watching it go by ,and it went high up in the air. I remember one time i was scared to go to the bathroom. when I was about 5 years old because I had watched a scary movie earlier that day and i thought that something would get me but my heard me crying in the hallway and she asked me what was wrong and and i told her what had happen and she told that ,that was not a real movie and don't be afraid and since than i was not scared to go to the bathroom no more.
one time that i remember that i was afraid of something was when i went to universal studios on the hulk right when i was about to go on i got so scared an decided not to it went upside down to the side and extremely fast so much feet in the air i was terrified.
Anthony Johnson When I was about nine I went to the beach. When I was swimming I manage to see a shark right next to me. I never saw a shark before in real life so I wasn't clear if it was a shark. So I just got out of the water to get a better look then I asked my dad if it was and he said yes. So iI freaked out and started to run everywhere. Now I was scared to swim in the Palm beach so i started to go to Miami beach and tat was my scariest day.
the time i was so scared when when my friend that go to my school got hurt really bad it was a sunny day in the afternoon when i was walking to my friend india house and my other friend was on a bike then when we got to her house my friend that was on the bike felled off in hit his head very hard then we rand after him we called his name 5 times there was no answer back then we called the hostpital the came in a hurry then they asked him questons about what happend he didnt no what happend to him all he was thinking was that he wanted to go to sleep that was the most miserable day.

When I was in middle school and high school i was very afraid of speaking in front of a large audience. I would shake and shudder whenever I spoke in front of a big group. Any time the teacher would ask me to speak in front of the class I would decline. I was afraid that everyone would judge me and laugh at me. Today i am not afraid anymore. I love to speak in front of a large group and and I actually look forward to it. One of my favorite things to do here at Miramar Elementary is to speak at the PTA meetings. I found the only way to over come my fear was to confront them and that is what I did. Instead of not volunteering to speak in front of a large group I want to be the first. I am glad I did because today I am no longer afraid.

Well he is afraid of the ocean but I am afraid of the deep side of the pool six feet up and If you are wondering what I was doing on that side of the pool I was playing around with my ball it on accident fell in the pool I tried to get it before it floated away but in the process i fell in at eleven feet and went at least eight feet down when my dad came and rescued me from the the water and when I got out I was shivering because I was cold. pretty much I THINK I LEARNED MY LESSON.I did not think that I could breath but I think I know why I think it was the chlorine in my throat I do not think I will ever do that again. That was the worst experience EVER.
hi my name is johanna dominique and i know this is weird but i am scared of butterflys cause they r fuzzy ugly and there faces r so weird and ugly and one time i was in my backyard i was wit my doggy blue and i turned and this 9000 foot butterfly was in my face ok ok ok maybe it was not 9000 ft tall but it was 2 me another thing i am cared of are sharks they are swimming bucketz of death but just like MAFATU we are scared of something so just 2 let u know he faced hiz feras but we did not
