- Pretend you are a kid living in one of the colonies. Think of an event that could have happened to you in this time period.
- Write a journal entry from that point of view. Try to put in as much historical detail as possible.
- Review your journal for grammar and spelling.

IF I WERE A KID IN THAT TIME I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO SCARED BECAUSE THERES ALWAYS A WAR AND STRANGERS COMING IINTO YOR HOUSE WHEN THEY ARENT ASK TO COME AND IMAGINE ME ASKING MY MOM OR DAD FOR SOMETHING AND THEY SAY NO BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO PAY THERE TAXES WITH THE MONEY THEY WERE GONNA BUY WHAT I WANTED WITH .THATS WHY LIVING IN THESE DAYS ARE EASIER BECAUSE I JUST HAVE TO ASK FOR SOMETHING AND THEYLL GIVE IT TO ME.

If i was a kid in that time i would have been so freaked out because there would have been people with big guns shooting bombs and bullets flying all over the place.

If I was in that time I would be a little afraid because there would be soldiers coming to my house and I wouldn't know what is going on in that time I ask a lot of questions like what are you doing here and why is a war going on.I probably be doing lots of work there since there is not a lot of food.

I in the colinies side fighting and going through with my parent the war against us and the british its been pretty hard now in days i,ve lots of camootion going on about this war and i would like to share it with you all to understand how it felt to be a child during the war. first of all it is very hard for my parents to provide fo me becuase all the extra money they have to spend paying taxes sometimes I do not have a bed to sleep in the night because here are some men who come inside my home that I do not know who always sleep in my bed I feel it is unfair that my parent pay all that money just so people can barge in like they own the place its sometimes scary to go outside when the people are fighting it makes me feel unsafe.
