When patrick henry says give me liberty or give me death he means that you give me liberty or you kill me because he wants freedom or they can shoot him.
In the saying I know what course others may take;but as for me give me liberty, meaning give me freedom, or give me death also meaning kill me.So what I think what there trying to say is Set me free or kill me.
What i think patrick henry meant when he said ''I know not what course others may take ;but as for me,give me liberty or give me death!" I think he was trying to say ,I do not know what path others might choose to take but as for me give me freedom or give me death.
Well when Patrick Henry said that ''I know not what course others take;but as for me,give me liberty or give me death!'' I think this means that he doesn't want to live under the laws of the british he will rather die then follow the british rules.
Give me liberty or give me death means that if they will not give patrick henry peace and just raise the funds for the army he will not take anything else but death.

patrick henry is saying that he don't care what other's might say or think also might take but he will not stand for what he don't like and if they don't change the law kill him in if they don't want him to do that change the law.

Hi my name is Johanna Dominique and i think that Patrick Henry's quote in 1775 means He does not care what path others take but as for him they can give him justice or death because he will not follow what they do but he will do what is right for him and his country.
